Should I deload before transitioning from a volume phase to an intensity phase? : Fitness
Currently I am planning to do a 6 week hypertrophy phase specializing in collecting a lot of volume, adopted by way of a 6 week power phase specializing in lifting heavy weight/tapering down volume. Is it recommended to put a deload in between those levels, or will have to I do exactly 12 weeks instantly? This is my first time attempting coaching like this (I used to be doing linear development) so I am a bit perplexed.
