First time making orange chicken and fried rice from scratch. Did not disappoint! : FoodPorn
FOR THE RICE:
Three cups cooked rice, 2 tbsp sesame oil, 1 small yellow onion, chopped, 1 cup frozen peas, thawed, 2-Three tbsp soy sauce (roughly to style), 2 eggs, evenly overwhelmed
Preheat a big skillet or wok to medium warmth. Pour sesame oil within the backside. Add white onion and peas and carrots and fry till smooth.
Slide the onion, peas and carrots to the aspect, and pour the overwhelmed eggs onto the opposite aspect. Using a spatula, scramble the eggs. Once cooked, combine the eggs with the vegetable combine.
Add the rice to the veggie and egg combination. Pour the soy sauce on best. Stir and fry the rice and veggie combination till heated via and blended. Add chopped inexperienced onions if desired.
